OUTLINE
As stories abound of staff being bullied, leaving their jobs and signing NDAs, this masterclass will equip you to ensure that your workplace is not one of those that enables or ignores the mistreatment of its staff. Further, you’ll learn how to prevent workplace bullying and create systems that protect victims and enable inclusivity.
Hundreds of staff are experiencing staff-on-staff bullying. Many are being forced to sign NDAs as their wellbeing suffers and they seek a way out. As thousands report poor mental health as a result of their workplace environment, leaders must ask the difficult question as to why? And how much it is due to toxic working environments resulting from bullying behaviour.
This masterclass is a long-overdue deep dive into the roots and causes of bullying behaviour, why it emerges and how it can be prevented. It will explore how unquestioned norms often perpetuate a workplace culture in which many feel excluded, controlled and powerless to speak up.
We will explore how to challenge and change the systems which breed bullying and the hallmarks of a working environment which perpetuates trust, openness and wellbeing. Then we will explore how to embed equitable systems of complaint so that toxic working relationships and bullying behaviour is addressed effectively whilst protecting the wellbeing and rights of those harmed or excluded.
